z4ps.uk is a newly launched URL shortener run by one person (DabbleLabs UK, a sole trader in the UK). These terms are meant to be read: they explain what the service is, what you may and may not do with it, how paid plans work, and the honest limits of what a small independent service can promise.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using z4ps.uk (the "service"), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What z4ps is

z4ps.uk is a URL-shortening service provided by DabbleLabs UK, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. It lets you create short links that redirect to destinations you choose, generate QR codes for them, and view analytics about clicks. There is a free plan and optional paid plans. z4ps is an independent, newly launched project offered on an as-is basis, and it may be changed, limited, or discontinued over time.

3. Accounts and verification

For a full account - to manage your links, keep them permanently, and use analytics and the other features - you can sign up with an email and password or by signing in with Google. You can also create a basic short link without an account, straight from our homepage; such a link is anonymous, is subject to these terms and the same automated safety checks, requires a Cloudflare Turnstile human check, and expires after 7 days unless you sign up and claim it (see section 6). For a full account you must provide an accurate email address, keep your sign-in details secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You must verify your email address before you can create links from your account - this keeps the service usable and abuse-resistant. Signing up, and creating an anonymous link, may require passing a Cloudflare Turnstile human check (see our Privacy Policy for what that involves); logging in never does. You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. When you sign up you are asked to accept these terms and the Privacy Policy, and we record that acceptance; if you create a link without an account, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy by using the service (see section 1).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use z4ps.uk to create, shorten, host, or lead to any link or content that is unlawful or harmful. In particular, you must not use the service for:

Phishing or any attempt to deceive people into revealing credentials, payment details or personal information;
Malware, viruses, or any link that distributes harmful software;
Spam or unsolicited bulk messaging, or links used in such messaging;
Illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights (including intellectual property), is defamatory, or is otherwise unlawful in the UK;
disguising the true destination of a link to evade safety checks, or cloaking different destinations to us and to visitors;
attempting to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service or its infrastructure.

These prohibitions apply regardless of your plan, and equally to anonymous links created without an account.

5. Disabling links and suspending accounts

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice where necessary, disable any link and suspend any account that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or is being used for abuse. A disabled link stops redirecting and shows a clear notice instead. Destination URLs are also checked automatically against known-malware and phishing lists (Google Cloud Web Risk) and our own heuristics, and a link found to be dangerous may be disabled automatically. Suspension locks an account out of sign-in and further link creation; we do not delete a suspended user's data as part of a suspension. If you believe a disablement or suspension is a mistake, contact us and we will review it.

6. Link lifecycle

Once a short link is live, we do not delete it simply because you exceed a plan limit or move to a smaller plan. Plan limits cap how many new links you can create in a period; if you downgrade, your existing links keep working - a downgrade only stops you creating further links until you are back under the cap. A live link does, however, end in two cases:

Expiry you set. If you give a link an expiry date or a maximum number of clicks, it stops redirecting when that is reached. This is your own choice.
Disablement for abuse. A link disabled for breaching these terms (by us or automatically) stops redirecting.
Anonymous links expire. A link created without an account from our homepage expires automatically 7 days after it is made. If you sign up in the same browser, it is claimed into your account and kept like any other link, with its click history; otherwise it stops redirecting and its short code is recycled.

7. Reporting abuse

If you have found a z4ps.uk short link being used for phishing, malware, spam, or other abuse, please tell us using the report a link page - no account is needed. Include the short link and, if you can, what is wrong with it.

We take abuse seriously and act on reports as quickly as we reasonably can. Please understand that z4ps is run by one person, so while we aim to review reports promptly - typically within a couple of business days, and faster for clear malware or phishing - we cannot promise a fixed response time. Clear-cut malicious links are disabled as soon as we see them.

8. Plans and what they include

z4ps offers a free plan and three paid tiers. In outline (see the pricing page for current details, as plans may change):

Paid tiers add features such as editing a link's destination, password-protected links, bulk creation, API access, styled QR codes, campaigns, and A/B / geo-targeting rules, depending on the tier. The pricing page is the authoritative source for current prices and inclusions.

9. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds

Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through PayPal. You approve the subscription with PayPal, PayPal holds your payment method under its own terms, and z4ps never sees or stores your card or bank details. A subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel. We activate, renew and end paid features on your account based on confirmed notifications from PayPal, with a short grace period around each renewal so a briefly delayed payment does not interrupt access.

You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account's subscription settings, or by asking us. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not end your current paid period early - your paid features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your links keep working. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices or plan contents on reasonable notice; a change will not affect a period you have already paid for.

10. Availability

z4ps is provided on a best-effort, "as is" and "as available" basis. Because it is operated by a single individual, we do not offer an uptime guarantee or a service-level agreement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We recommend you keep your own record of important links and destinations. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, and where reasonably practical we will give notice before discontinuing it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DabbleLabs UK will not be liable for any loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, or from any destination a short link points to. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales. z4ps is not responsible for the content of the destinations that users choose to link to.

12. Termination

You may stop using z4ps at any time and may ask us to close your account (see the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service, as described in section 5.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
